Simon, prior to graduating as a physiotherapist in 1992 served as a commando paramedic leaving HM forces in 1996 after 17 years of service.
Since then, his career has been an eclectic mix within the world of professional sport and has been lucky enough to experience some incredible highlights during this time.
His sports career has involved Formula1 motorsport, PGA/European Tour Golf including the prestigious Ryder Cup, Rugby Union with both Bedford the world famous Barbarians and, for the last 11 years, Cambridge University Rugby Union, preparing players for the annual Varsity Match.
He is still heavily involved within the world of motorsport and is currently with the Aston Martin GT Racing Team leading the Human Performance preparation of the drivers working towards the ultimate event in GT race endurance, the annual 24 hours of Le Mans which is part of the World Endurance Championship.
Simon is passionate about providing his patients with clinically sound and evidenced based treatments and enjoys the mix of treating elite athletes and the general population who can benefit from good physiotherapy and robust strength and conditioning interventions. Alongside this, Simon’s clinical areas interest include, clinical diagnostics including musculoskeletal ultrasound, Injection therapy and he is also a Registered Non Medical Prescriber.
Out of work, Simon enjoys as much time as possible with his ever growing family and has recently become a Grandfather to the wonderful Lottie! He aspires to be proficient in the kitchen as much as possible and cooks up a mean feast whenever the opportunity arises.
